On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Cancer Centers of America (CCA), Nashik successfully conducted a large-scale preventive healthcare initiative focused on HPV vaccination, aligned with the global theme “United by Unique.”
As part of this impactful program, 338 girls aged 9 to 14 years received their first dose of the HPV vaccine, marking a significant step toward the prevention of cervical cancer. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early vaccination, cancer prevention, and women’s health.
The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Smitha Raju, CEO, Cancer Centers of America, in the presence of senior medical professionals, CCA staff, school representatives, parents, and supporting organizations. With the active collaboration of educational institutions, NGOs, and community partners, the campaign emphasized the role of preventive healthcare in building a healthier future.
Doctors and healthcare experts guided students and parents on HPV infection, cervical cancer prevention, and the importance of completing the full vaccination schedule. The initiative reflected CCA Nashik’s strong commitment to community health, awareness, and proactive cancer prevention—especially among young girls.
Through programs like these, Cancer Centers of America continues to strengthen its mission of early prevention, education, and accessible healthcare, ensuring long-term protection and empowerment for the next generation.
