Dr. Pranoti Kusalkar Verma

Consultant Intensivist and Anesthesiologist 

Dr Pranoti Kusalkar Verma MBBS DA CTCCM Fellowship in mechanical ventilation,  is a highly skilled Consultant Intensivist and Anesthesiologist at Cancer Centers of America, Nashik. With a strong background in critical care, she brings extensive expertise in managing complex and high-risk cases in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Dr Kusalkar has received advanced training in hemodynamic monitoring and 2D echocardiography in critical care, enhancing her proficiency in the comprehensive management of critically ill patients.

 

Dr Kusalkar’s critical care journey began with her DA in Anesthesiology from Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, where she also gained invaluable experience working in their high-acuity ICU. She further advanced her skills by completing the CTCCM from the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, solidifying her role as an expert in critical care medicine. Throughout her career, she has held prominent positions, including Chief Intensivist and ICU In-charge at leading cancer centers and hospitals, where she managed a wide range of cases, including severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), septic shock, blunt trauma, and critically ill postoperative patients.

 

Dr Kusalkar’s expertise extends across all fields of anesthesia, with specialized skills in pediatric, neuro, obstetric, onco, and robotic anesthesia, making her a versatile professional in both the operating room and the ICU. She is adept in ventilatory management, arterial blood gas analysis, central and arterial line insertions, regional anesthesia blocks, and acute pain management services. Her advanced training in high-risk obstetrics and labor analgesia further highlights her commitment to providing comprehensive and patient-centered care.

 

An active contributor to academic medicine, Dr Kusalkar has published her research in the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine, focusing on the critical timing of invasive mechanical ventilation in severe COVID-19 cases. She continuously updates her knowledge and skills through certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and specialized training in cardiac ultrasound, reflecting her dedication to remaining at the forefront of critical care advancements.
