Dr. Akanksha Joshi, MBBS, MD (Radiology), is a skilled radiologist with focused expertise in onco-imaging and image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures. Trained at leading tertiary and oncology centers, she brings strong experience in cross-sectional imaging, including CT and MRI reporting for both general and oncology cases, along with detailed outside scan reviews that support multidisciplinary cancer care.

 

She has extensive proficiency in ultrasound imaging, encompassing routine abdominal and Doppler studies, small parts imaging, and comprehensive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound, including early pregnancy scans, NT/NB assessment, Level I and Level II anomaly scans, obstetric Doppler studies, and pelvic imaging. Dr. Joshi also specializes in breast imaging with mammography and sonography and is well versed in breast interventions such as biopsies, wire localization, and clip or marker placement.

 

Dr. Joshi is experienced in a wide range of ultrasound- and CT-guided interventions, including biopsies of abdominal organs, lymph nodes, breast, thyroid, prostate, lung, mediastinal and retroperitoneal lesions, as well as bone biopsies. Her procedural expertise extends to drainage procedures such as pigtail catheter placements for collections and abscesses. Academically inclined, she has presented and published research at national and international forums and has completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Radiology.
